嗅覺:純淨,中上的花香,黑櫻桃,肉桂,香草,烤蜜棗與土壤氣味,陳年中。
味覺:不甜,中上的酸性與單寧,高酒精濃度,豐富酒體。中上的黑櫻桃,香草,黑胡椒,可可與皮革口味。長回味長度。
結論:首次喝到高品質,絲綢質感,無過濾,由美國製酒大師Paul Hobbs釀造的阿根廷馬爾貝克。已達適飲期,無須再貯存。

品種:Pinot Noir黑皮諾

視覺:清澈,中下石榴石色,薄杯緣淚滴。
嗅覺:純淨,濃郁的覆盆子,紅櫻桃,皮革與土壤氣味,陳年中。
味覺:不甜,中下的酸性與單寧,中上酒精濃度與中度酒體。中上的紅櫻桃,香草,檜木與皮革口味。長回味長度。
結論:早已聽說奧勒岡是全世界風土與勃根地最為接近的地區,但是這是我第一次試飲到來自該州的高品質黑皮諾,可適飲也有貯存潛能。

Appearance: Clear, deep ruby
Nose: Clean, medium+ black cherry, floral, cinnamon, vanilla, baked plum, earthy aromas at developing stage
Palate: Dry, medium+ acidity and tannin with high alcohol and full body. Medium+ black cherry, vanilla, black pepper, cocoa and leather flavors with long length.
Conclusion: My first experience of high quality, silky texture, and unfiltered Argentina Malbec made by Paul Hobb. Drink and less potential for further ageing
CRISTOM Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills Eileen Vineyard 2009
Tasted on 2013-05-22 at WSET Level 3 Class (CAD $82)

Appearance: Clear, medium- garnet, thin legs
Nose: Clean, pronounced raspberry, red cherry, leather and earthy aromas at developing stage
Palate: Dry, medium- acidity and tannin with medium+ alcohol and medium body. Medium+ red cherry, vanilla, cedar and leather flavors with long length.
Conclusion: Having learned about the terroir of Oregon is the closest to Burgundy for a while, this is my first time to taste a fine quality Oregon Pinot Noir. Drink now and have potential for further ageing.
