視覺清澈,中檸檬色

嗅覺:純淨,中上的檸檬,杏桃,烤香菇與餅乾氣味,陳年中
味覺:不甜,高酸性,中上酒精濃度,中上酒體,綿密泡沫。有中上的檸檬酒,杏桃,橘子皮,餅乾,烤香菇,核桃與鮮美口味,有中上的餘韻。

結論:這瓶迷人的金字塔型氣泡酒是來自於義大利的佛朗恰克塔產區,該區是香檳區以外以傳統香檳釀造法生產氣泡酒的最佳產區之一。此瓶酒有極佳的水準,在豐富均衡且濃郁的優雅酵母溶解風味中仍保有清新的口感。可惜味覺強度稍弱無法與它的香味並稱。已可適飲,有繼續貯存的潛力

Appearance: Clear, medium lemon
Nose: Clean,
medium+ lemon, apricot, roasted mushroom, and biscuit aromas at developing stage
Palate: Dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol and medium+ body. With medium+ lemoncello, apricot, tangerine zest, biscuit, roast mushroom, savory, smoky and walnut flavors.  Medium+ finish, creamy mousses.


ConclusionThis charming pyramid-bottled wine is from Franciacorta, Italy - one of the best areas producing traditional method sparkling wines outside Champagne.  It offered very good quality with complex, balanced and concentrated autolytic elegance while keeping refreshing  tastes, though these senses are weaker in mouth.  Drinking now, may benefit from further ageing.

嗅覺:純淨,中上的黃檸檬,蘋果,柑橘,梅子乾,草莓,花香,乾香菇與麵包氣味,陳年中
味覺:不甜,高酸性,酒精濃度,中上酒體,綿密泡沫。有中上的檸檬皮,葡萄柚,蔓越莓,乾香菇,不鏽鋼,嫩薑,麵包,烤杏仁與鮮美口味,有中上令人口水直流的餘韻。

結論:非年份香檳的佳作但93分有點評價過高。有堅實與醇厚的風味但水果與不鏽鋼味過濃使得口感未達均衡。已可適飲,沒有繼續貯存的潛力

Appearance: Clear, medium gold, creamy mousses
Nose: Clear, medium+ lemon, apple, tangerine, dry plum, strawberry, floral, mushroom,and bready aromas at developing stage
Palate: Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ body, creamy mousse.  With medium+ lemon zest, grapefruit, raspberry, mushroom, steely, ginger, bready, smoky almond and savory flavors. Medium+ mouthwatering finish. 

ConclusionVery good NV champagne but 93 score is over-rated.  Though structured and concentrated but not so balanced with over fruity and steely finish.  Ready to drink now and not suitable for ageing.

嗅覺:純淨,濃郁的檸檬,烤蘋果,草莓,餅乾,菇類與核桃氣味。陳年中。
味覺:不甜,高酸性,中酒精濃度與中酒體。有濃郁的檸檬,青梅,礦物,菇類,餅乾,核桃與鮮美口味,長餘韻。

結論:Jacquesson 是香檳瓶塞固定鐵絲的發明者,也是當年拿破崙最喜愛的香檳酒莊之一。這瓶於12年8月才除渣的非年份香檳儘管含糖量甚低(僅充填1.5g/l的dosage),卻不失其傑出的優雅品質。以可適飲,亦可短時間儲存。

Appearance: Clear, medium gold
Nose: Clean, pronounced lemon, toasted apple, strawberry, biscuit, mushroom and walnut aromas at developing stage
Palate:  Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol and medium-bodied. With pronounced lemon, unripe plum, mineral, mushroom, biscuit, walnut and savory flavors. Long finish.

Conclusion: Jacquesson & Fils was famous for the inventor of muselet and the most favorite champagne by Napoleon.  This Aug 2012 disgorged NV has outstanding elegance even though it is very dry (1.5g/l dosage).  Drink now and will benefit for short-term ageing.

視覺清澈,中金色,杯緣厚淚滴
嗅覺:純淨,濃郁的橘子果醬,葡萄乾,黑棗乾,蜂蜜,花香,菇類,焦糖與礦物氣味,陳年中
味覺:極甜,高酸性,中上酒精濃度,豐富酒體。有濃郁的杏桃,鳳梨乾,橘子果醬,葡萄乾,黑棗乾,黃檸檬皮,鮮美,煙燻,蜂蜜,香草,野薑,烤甘栗與烤椰子口味。長餘韻。

結論:這瓶分數更高的06年索甸甜酒與我上個月試飲的08年相比,有更芬芳多元的香氣(明顯的橘子果醬味),更豐富的酒體,與更鮮美的口感,但餘韻感覺略短。仍然為 Lur Saluces家族(Yquem酒莊擁有者,已於96年賣給LVMH)的索甸甜酒傑作。一瓶60元加幣應多多蒐藏到酒窖,未來幾十年每年才都可開幾瓶來喝。




CHÂTEAU DE FARGUES Sauternes 2006

Tasted on 2014-01-18 at Vancouver Home (CAD $60, 375 ml)
WS 95 / RP 94-96

Appearance: Clear, medium gold, tears
Nose:  Clean, with pronounced orange marmalade, raisin, dry prune, honey, floral, mushroom, caramel and mineral at developing stage.
Palate: Lusciously sweet, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, full body, with pronounced apricot, dry pineapple, orange marmalade, raisin , dry prune, lime zest, mushroom, savory, smoky, honey, vanilla, wild ginger, roast chestnut and roast coconut flavors. Long finish.

Conclusion:  
The better-scored 2006 vintage has more sophisticated aromas (significant orange marmalade), fuller body, and a more savoury mounthfeel though slightly shorter finish compared to its 2008 sibling I tried last month.  Still a masterpiece well represented by the former Yquem owner.  $60 is a good deal to collect them into your winery for further ageing for decades.
