視覺：清澈，中石榴石色，杯緣淚滴
嗅覺：純淨，濃郁的熟透黑櫻桃，花香，皮革與蘑菇氣味，陳年中。
味覺：不甜，中酸性，中度單寧，中上酒精濃度與豐富酒體。有中上的黑櫻桃，蘑菇，肉乾，皮革，黑胡椒，香草，檜木，與煙燻口味。長餘韻。

結論：★★★★★非常同意WS所形容地這瓶小教堂會帶來享樂主義的快感。2001年不但是最好的年份之一，價位也相對合理。已可適飲，應可繼續貯存至2020年。

Appearance:
Clear,  medium garnet, tears
Nose: Clean, pronounced ultraripe black cherry, floral, leather, and mushroom aromas at developing stage.
Palate: Dry, medium acidity, medium tannin, medium+ alcohol and full-bodied.  Has medium+ black cheery, mushroom, meaty, leather, black pepper, vanilla, cedar and smoke flavors.  Long finish.

Conclusion:  ★★★★★Can't agree more while WS mentioned this La Chapelle is a hedonistic pleasure. 2001 is not only one of the best years but also fairly priced.   Drink now and may benefit for further ageing up to 2020.
